Notes: Gauge isn’t too important. Why spend money on wrapping paper and ribbons, just to have the paper and ribbons throw out after 5 seconds of opening the gift?! I like to use Ripstop nylon for my reusable wrapping paper (that way I don’t have to sew anything!) I don’t tape the gift at all, instead I just wrap it up in reusable ribbon and top with a bow! The reusable ribbon is GREAT because it doesn’t get those ugly little wrinkles from use. This pattern includes a pretty crochet bow that you could make as part of the gift also. put a hair clip on the back and you have an adorable hair accessory!

Row 1: sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each st across, ch 1, turn (4 sc)
Row 2: sc into each stitch across, ch 1, turn (4)
Row 3-101: repeat Row 2. --if you don’t want to count rows...read next few steps for completed measurement
***At Row 101 you should be about 19” into the project and maybe you’re tired of it lol that's okay! finish off here and you have a lovely headband! Put your right sides together, sew ends together, weave in ends and tada! Now make the bow to sew on it!

Row 1: sc into the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in each st across, ch 1, turn (50 sc)
Row 2-10: sc into each st across, ch 1, turn (50 sc)
At the end of row 10, finish off but leave a tail for sewing. Next, fold your sides together with right sides facing and sew the sides together, finish off and weave in ends.
Turn the ribbon with right sides facing the correct way and hold the seam you just created so that it is in the middle of the rectangle. You are going to take about 12” of yarn and tightly wrap the center of the bow. When you’re out of yarn, take a tapestry needle and sew your ends into the center knot you’ve made and weave it a few times through the knot to finish off.
Decide which side will be the back of your bow and insert your hook into one of the stitches off to the right of the knot. pull your yarn through the st, yo, pull your yarn through the loop on the hook, cinch it down, ch 6, slst to one of the stitches off to the left of the knot, finish off, weave in ends.
You’ll use this little loop to slide the bow onto the ribbon.
Notes: If you want a smaller bow just start off with less chains, if you want a bigger bow, start off with more chains. Very easy to adjust and become a bow making pro!
